PVC pipe (PVC-U pipe) hard PVC pipe, is made of PVC resin with stabilizer, lubricant and other hot pressing extrusion molding, is the earliest developed and applied plastic pipe. PVC-U pipe has strong corrosion resistance, easy bonding, low price and hard texture. However, due to the leakage of PVC-U monomer and additives, it is only suitable for the water supply system where the conveying temperature does not exceed 45℃. Plastic piping is used for drainage, wastewater, chemicals, heating and cooling fluids, food, ultra-pure liquids, mud, gas, compressed air and vacuum system applications.
It has good tensile and compressive strength: but its flexibility is not as good as other plastic pipes.
Low fluid resistance: the wall of PVC-U pipe is very smooth, and the resistance to fluid is very small. Its roughness coefficient is only 0.009, and its water transport capacity is 20% higher than that of cast iron pipe of the same diameter, and 40% higher than that of concrete pipe.
Excellent corrosion resistance and drug resistance: PVC-U pipe has excellent acid resistance, alkali resistance and corrosion resistance. It is not affected by moisture and soil pH, and does not need any anti-corrosion treatment when the pipe is laid.
With good water tightness: the installation of PVC-U pipe has good water tightness, whether it is connected by adhesive or rubber ring.
Bite proof: PVC-U tubes are not a source of nutrients and therefore are not susceptible to rodent attack. According to a study conducted by the National Health Foundation in Michigan, rats do not bite PVC-U pipe.
Performance test: curing time, shrinkage rate, splitting strength, tensile property stripping strength, thermal stability, applicable period, storage period, release of harmful substances.
Process of production
Raw material + auxiliary preparation → mixing → conveying and feeding → forced feeding → Cone-type twin-screw extruder → extrusion mold → sizing sleeve → spray vacuum setting box → soaking cooling water tank → ink printing machine → crawler tractor → knife lifting machine → pipe stacking rack → finished product testing and packaging.
PVC can be divided into soft PVC and hard PVC.
Hard PVC accounts for about 2/3 of the market, and soft PVC accounts for 1/3.
Soft PVC is generally used for floor, ceiling and leather surface, but because soft PVC contains plasticizer (this is also the difference between soft PVC and hard PVC), the physical performance is poor (as water pipes need to bear a certain water pressure, soft PVC is not suitable for use), so its use scope is limited.
Hard PVC does not contain plasticizer, so it is easy to form, good physical properties, so it has great development and application value. In the production process of PVC materials, several additives are bound to be added, such as stabilizer, plasticizer and so on. If all environmental protection additives are used, the PVC pipe is also non-toxic and tasteless environmental protection products.
