According to the latest customs statistics, in July 2022, China imported 26,500 tons of PVC pure powder, 11.33% lower than the previous month, 26.30% lower than last year; In July 2022, China exported 176,900 tons of PVC pure powder, 20.83% less than the previous month and 184.79% more than last year. Compared with in previous years, the single-month export volume of PVC in our country still maintains a high level, but the export volume has slipped for 3 consecutive months, the support for the domestic market is gradually weakening.

From January to July 2022, China imported 176,700 tons of PVC pure powder, 14.44% lower than the same period last year; From January to July, China exported 1,419,200 tons of PVC pure powder, up 21.89% compared with the same period last year.
From the analysis of export destinations, from January to July, China’s PVC pure powder was mainly exported to India, Vietnam and Turkey, accounting for 29.60%, 10.34% and 5.68%, respectively. The PVC powder was mainly from Taiwan, Japan and the United States, accounting for 58.52%, 27.91% and 8.04%, respectively.
