application

Polyethylene is the most common type of plastic used in the packaging industry, and indeed the world. Part of the reason for its popularity are the many different variations that can all be suited to a specific task.
POLYETHYLENE (PE)
The most common plastic in the world, PE is used to create poly bags that are both recyclable and reusable. Most plastic shopping bags are made from different thicknesses of PE, thanks to its durability and ability to expand.
LOW DENSITY POLYETHYLENE (LDPE)
LDPE is lower in density than its parent material, meaning it has less tensile strength. The upshot is that this ensure the material is softer and much more ductile, excellent for producing soft-touch items.
HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE (HDPE)
HDPE film is generally stronger and stiffer and more opaque than LDPE. Given its toughness it is possible to produce bags of equivalent strength from thinner film.
K-SOFT (CAST POLYETHYLENE)
K-Soft is a very soft film that resists wrinkles better than any other substrate. Hot stamping is possible, and the seal is stronger than that of LDPE.
